Who initiates an evacuation roll process?
Any staff member who has access to mark rolls can initiate an evacuation roll.
The Sentral for Teachers App provides multiple prompts that alert a teacher that they are about to initiate an evacuation roll call process. These prompts will ask users/ teachers if they want to initiate an evacuation and will require an active confirmation to continue, the responsibility falls upon the teacher to progress or not.The app does not limit specific users to start an evacuation roll call process. The reason for this is to ensure that should an emergency occur, safety takes precedence over all else, school teachers are not prevented from taking account of each student in their care because they are waiting for certain users to start it.
