How do I import future student data?
Overview
Preparing for future students has just gotten easier! Currently only available to NSW DoE schools and schools that use the Sentral Enrolments module, this new feature will allow schools to easily sync future students into their Sentral platform. This gives schools the opportunity to prepare for future students early. It does this by allowing schools to grant access to the Sentral for Parents Portal and App to prospective parents before the start of the new school year.
Eligibility
Only the following schools are eligible for this feature:
- NSW Department of Education (DoE) schools
- Schools using Sentral Enrolment as their enrolment module.
Activating and importing future student data
Setting
The setting below will import future student
data into Sentral Profiles. Once this setting is activated, please run a data
sync for the changes to be effective. Otherwise, data sync will automatically
run overnight.
Steps
To activate this setting- Navigate to Sentral setup and select Enterprise Setup.
- From the left menu, select General and then select Future Students.
- Select the Import Future Students checkbox and select Save.
- Run a data sync to import future students.
