Can we modify the school dashboard to display attendance concern register?
Solution 1
- Sentral does not have an option to display a widget for attendance concerns on the main dashboard.
- Flags can be used in order to provide a list of attendance concerns.
- Navigate to profiles module and then into the Profiles Setup and then automatic flags.
- Activate the attendance concern flag.
- Navigate now to the Profiles module main screen and select student has a flag and select attendance concern.
- This will now display all students who have attendance concerns.
- Go to School Attendance > Attendance Register > Attendance Concerns
- Copy the URL in the browser
- Go to Customise School Dashboard > select Button widget.
- Click pencil icon
- Paste the URL you copied and Label the button Attendance concerns to create a quick shortcut
