Does an absence automatically change to absent unjustified after 7 days or does the teacher need to change the code manually?

• Navigate to the Sentral Waffle Icon and select the School Attendance module
• Then select School Attendance Setup located in the bottom left corner
• Proceed to the General Settings 
• Navigate to the heading titled Automatic Declared to Unjustified
• Ensure this is set to After 7 calendar days

Note: The teacher does not need to change the code to U-Unjustified after 7 days if no explanation is received from the parent. The above settings will provide this function automatically after 7 days.
